An Incinerator is to be supplied by the Contractor on a rental basis at a location established by the Company. The Contractor is to provide trained and competent personnel with initial installation, commissioning and operational training under the supervision of the manufacturer’s technician. The incinerator is to be maintained and operated to manufacturer’s specifications by trained personnel. Contractor must have sufficient personnel trained and competent to operate the incinerator throughout the contract period. Specifications for the incinerator are attached in Appendix A. Incinerator Use/Ash Collection Incinerators used will be limited to daylight hours of operation. This includes shutdown, cleaning and maintenance. Waste streams shall not be mixed during the incineration process and the ash collection chamber will be cleaned when a different waste stream is to be incinerated. The Company will provide the contractor with a list of items that can be incinerated. All ash will be collected and stored in individual storage bins for each particular waste stream. The bins are to be provided by the contractor to the same design as the storage bins for the raw waste streams and include a lid design that prevents contamination from water. Ash from each waste stream will be sent for laboratory analysis after each initial incineration by the Company and at intervals decided by the Company thereafter. Contractor will be required to collect ash samples for analysis as directed by the Company. The Contractor will be responsible for the security of samples taken to prevent contamination until collection by the Company or designated courier. Ash will be disposed of at the direction of the Company. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure the ash is not compromised until final disposal. Company will provide additional storage area for ash if and as required.
